Gameplay[]
During the whole fight Vermilion Coronatus will shoot straight lasers from its belly. Its initial attacks are to shoot three-way blue shots diagonally downwards from its beak and send in homing drones after the player. After a while it will extend its tail and shoot green lasers from its neck at the tail, which will then ricochet to cover the space in front of it. After this it will shoot three way shots from its tail in the player's direction while keeping with its other attacks. Its next attack is to cover itself whit the tail, while a series of spinning pink projectiles come from it, while it shoots the green lasers forward. The tail can deflect the player's shots.
After taking enough damage, the boss will magnetize the player ship and attract it to its tail, while charging a laser beam on its beak. After the laser is fired, it will free the player and shoot a barrage of rainbow-colored bending beams which home into the player. It will keep using the ricocheting lasers, but now it will swing its tail thus covering much more space.
Once its brains are exposed the boss will protect itself with the tail, covering its entire body on the front while keeping with its regular attacks and the rainbow beams. After a while it will stretch its body, revealing a series of guns between its segments; these will fire a barrage of bullets forward. The boss will keep alternating between the covered and stretched modes until its destroyed.
