Tanol is a recurring enemy from the Darius series.
Details[]
Tanols appear as cilyndrical enemies. They appear in formations of five, aligned in a line and moving in a counterclockwise motion around the centermost Tanol. From Darius II onwards they'll also appear in ring formations coming from the top or bottom.
Darius II features a variation comprised of two Tanols which carry a missile between them, firing it before leaving.
