Slug Fish (Japanese: ナメクジウオ, Hepburn: Namekujiuo?) is the captain of the second tier stages from Darius Gaiden. It is based of a Lancelet (Cephalochordata).

This captain will show up from above and immediately start it's attack, which consists of shooting rows of green bullets which sweep the entire screen. This makes it very useful when the player captures it, as it's bullets will hit practically every enemy on the screen for as long as it remains by the player's side.
